Fool Me Once, Fool Me Twice

from What It Is, Too by Andrew Newton

/

about

lyrics

All of us can see you there on your high cloud,
It's going where the wind may take you.
How's the panorama of the things you left behind?
Well, there's no silver lining on this storm you call a home.
So come on back, cut some slack, leave the sky alone.
And just one reminder:

But fool me twice, and every little shame on me.

Falling down with glass in hand,
No where safe and sound to land.
Falling from your cloud so high
The price of want to touch the sky.
So
Take a seat in my van,
Gonna cross this barren land unto the see.
Well
This is how it really is, how it's suppose to be.
And just one reminder:

From Earth to Sky
There'll be no more lies
Just the truth that resides in each others eyes.

But...
